In the past, the Office of Inspector General (OIG) published an annual work plan. This plan described projects that were underway in the various divisions of the OIG. This past June, the OIG changed their processes and they now publish updates to the plan on a monthly basis in an effort to enhance public transparency. In this webinar, you’ll learn about the OIG, the projects that have been recently added to the plan and how you can incorporate this information into your annual risk assessment.
• Describe the OIG, and their responsibilities
• Explain the changes in the work plan designed to enhance transparency.
• Discuss the OIG Work Plan items and learn how to find recently added projects.
• Illustrate how elements of the Work Plan can be incorporated into your annual risk assessment and subsequent audit plan
