Remote patient monitoring has been a service for many years.  In 2019, CMS introduced chronic care remote physiological monitoring as a care management model.  After much discussion in the public comments regarding the use of remote physiological monitoring on patients other than chronic, CMS agreed to change the name and drop the chronic care and now refer to it as remote physiological monitoring or RPM.  Acronyms are not always our friend as RPM can now stand for both.  It is important to understand the words and know the difference.  If you are interested in learning more about remote monitoring in general and how you can incorporate it into your care coordination program, join us for this webinar.

Upon completion of the webinar, the participant will understand:

  1. The requirements to bill remote patient monitoring.
  2. The difference between remote patient monitoring and remote physiological monitoring
